      About the Watch:

This 1960's Bulova made Accutron is a perfect 40mm size and "Coke" bezel. Great patina to the dial and original tritium dial and hands. The high quality electric movement has been serviced and a new battery added. True smooth sweeping seconds hand and perfectly preserved dial. Crystal shows and few scratches, and the case is unpolished and sharp. We fitted this piece with a custom vintage style skin diver strap in black goatskin with black stitch and edges. We think a perfect fit for this particular piece!

      About the Brand:

To learn about the history of Accutron watches, one has to look looking into Bulova first. Bulova, the parent company of Accutron, was founded in 1875 and again in 1923. They first launched their electronic tuning fork movement in 1960 in a line of watches they named Accutron. The electronic movement was highly accurate and the precursor to the quartz watch movement which would follow several years later. Today the Accutron brand is owned by the Citizen Watch Group and is still producing electronic movements and watches.

      About Vintage Watches:

Please note that nearly all vintage watches are not water resistant, despite any markings on the case or dial, and care should be taken when wearing. All vintage watches will show signs of wear and patina, our favorite part, and scratches on the case, crystal, and case back are all part of the charm! All of our vintage watches have been cleaned, running, and left in unpolished condition when possible. Vintage watches should run as intended, however, some slight variations in timekeeping are to be expected. Plus or minus 10-30 seconds a day is common. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, we love talking watches.
