Shipping Policy

Lead Time:

All of our products are made-to-order. Our typical lead time is 3 weeks for stock items and 6 weeks for custom items. Please note that orders will go out in the order they are received. We reserve the right to change the lead times at any point and without notification. We will do our absolute best to meet the given lead times, however unforeseen circumstances to arise which cannot be predicted. Shipping & Handling:

Once the goods are crafted, they are prepared to be shipped accordingly. We mostly work with USPS for Domestic and International orders. Prices are calculated at actual cost via USPS, plus our materials and handling. 

Domestic US Customers:

You will be provided a tracking number via email once your item ships. All US shipments are sent via USPS Priority Flat Rate padded envelope. 

International Customers:

Please provide us your phone number for Custom purposes.  

USPS First Class International: If you selected this shipping method, there will be no tracking number or insurance. The delivery time frame is between 5-20 days, depending on custom clearance of your home country.

USPS Priority Express Mail: If you selected this shipping method, there will be tracking number and insurance. The delivery time frame is between 3-10 days, depending on custom clearance of your home country.

David Lane Design LLC is not responsible for any additional import taxes and fees on international shipments. It is the buyers responsibility to arrange any payments due upon receipt of a shipment. 

Please note that delivery times for international shipments cannot be guaranteed. 

Returns:
Because we make our products to order, cancellations and/or returns for orders must be made within 1 week from your order date. Refunds will only be given if cancellation and/or return occurs within one week for your order date. An email requesting a refund must be sent within the first week from your order date to david@davidlane-design.com.

Return shipments will only be covered by David Lane Design if the return is due to a defective product or incorrect product. All other return shipments will be at the buyers cost. 

After the first week, only exchanges may be made and will not include return shipping costs incurred by the customer. For all returns on Shell Cordovan and Military Leather products there will be a 75$ restocking fee for each product. All refunds and exchanges will be given once the original product has been returned.
