      About the Watch:

Beautifully Omega Jumbo case Calatrava Ref. 2505 features a gorgeous tapestry dial and gold applied indices and logo. This 1950's Omega is in phenomenal vintage condition in a perfect 38mm case with a mere 8mm in thickness. A truly wonderful vintage watch in a modern size. The watch case has been recently polished and yet remains thick with beautiful lugs integrated into the case. The signed crown, dial, and hands are all original and in near perfect condition. The original crystal has been replaced which is very common with a watch of this age. The gorgeous 17-jewel movement has been recently serviced and is keeping great time. We paired this with a beautiful Gold Novonappa® French calf skin strap with ecru thread to play off the beautiful cream color of the dial. A beautiful and desirable vintage piece from Omega.

      About the Brand:

Omega is ubiquitous when talking about watch brands. Founded in 1903, has established itself as one of the premier brands in all of horology. Omega has garnered a lengthy list of patents, awards, and accomplishments in watchmaking, none more famous than the first watch worn on the moon, the Omega Speedmaster. Omega still continues to innovate as well launching the Co-Axial Escapement movement in 1999. Omega is simply one of the best and most recognizable brands in the world and is synonymous with quality and dependability in watchmaking.

      About Vintage Watches:

Please note that nearly all vintage watches are not water resistant, despite any markings on the case or dial, and care should be taken when wearing. All vintage watches will show signs of wear and patina, our favorite part, and scratches on the case, crystal, and case back are all part of the charm! All of our vintage watches have been cleaned, running, and left in unpolished condition when possible. Vintage watches should run as intended, however, some slight variations in timekeeping are to be expected. Plus or minus 10-30 seconds a day is common. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, we love talking watches.
