About the Watch: 

This Glashutte watch has a beautiful dial that shows some patina. The dial features art deco numerals at 12 and 6. The hands are original, but have been refinished and relumed. The case is a wonderful and wearable 36mm excluding the crown, and has seen a polish, perhaps recently. The snap back case fits tightly and the slim profile makes for the perfect everyday or dress watch. We fitted this watch with a deep forrest green alligator strap with matching stitch. We love how the rich green of the strap contrasts with the rose gold case.

About the Brand:

Glashutte represents one of the pinnacles of German watch making. Officially established in 1918 and releasing pocket watches in 1921 featuring Glashutte Original on the dial. Soon after, the company started producing watch movements, known for their accuracy. The company survived both world wars and the splitting of Germany residing in the eastern part of the country. It was purchased by the Swatch group in October of 2000 under the name Glashutte Original where it still resides today.
