      About the Watch:

This 1950's Zenith Pilot features an 80 micron gold filled case, original hands, dial, and perfectly aged lume plots. Pearl dial features applied Arabic numerals at the even positions, and batons at the odd positions. The 18 jeweled hand wound mechanical movement runs strong and keeps good time. The case has been wonderfully dinged up over the years and has likely seen a polish at some point, but is still very thick and strong. We fitted this watch with our Saddle Tan alligator strap and ecru stitch which compliments the case and dial beautifully. A very solid mechanical watch all around and a great everyday watch as well.

      About the Brand:

Zenith is one of the most prestigious Swiss watch brands in history with particular fame in the making of movements like the El Primero automatic chronograph, which debuted in 1969, and is still in production today! Founded in 1865, Zenith is a historical titan of the watch world and their vintage watches, in particular, are prized for their design, accuracy, and sturdiness.

      About Vintage Watches:

Please note that nearly all vintage watches are not water resistant, despite any markings on the case or dial, and care should be taken when wearing. All vintage watches will show signs of wear and patina, our favorite part, and scratches on the case, crystal, and case back are all part of the charm! All of our vintage watches have been cleaned, running, and left in unpolished condition when possible. Vintage watches should run as intended, however, some slight variations in timekeeping are to be expected. Plus or minus 10-30 seconds a day is common. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, we love talking watches.
