My Story and Passion

My name is David Lane and I started working with leather as a side project to increase my personal watch strap collection. Not long after I had started I was receiving requests from my friends and family.

At that point, I decided to ask my Grandfather for his advice. His encouragement and wisdom has been my biggest inspiration. He handed down many of his tools and expertise to me from his days as a shoe cobbler in Budapest. After I received his approval of my craftsmanship, as well as his blessing, I decided to sell my work.

I have a deep appreciation and respect for craftsmanship as well as an unparalleled standard for customer service. I look forward to the opportunity to create your custom watch strap. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, and thank you for visiting davidlane-design.com.
